Caption: (March 25) - Ike's son resigning from army - Lt. Col. John S. Eisenhower, son of former president Eisenhower, has submitted a letter of resignation from the Army and taken a position at a New York publishing firm. At the close of his father's administration, he was granted indefinite leave without pay.
