1982 Press Photo Pianist Leon Fleisher hand ailment

Caption: Pianist Leon Fleisher returns to the concert stage at the opening concert in the new Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Baltimore Symphony and Leon Fleisher in Concert covers this dramatic event Saturday, Sept 25, on PBS - A Maryland Center for Public Broadcasting production. He performed for the first time with two hands since 1965, when his right hand was incapacitated. On Oct 8th he canceled a performance because of a mysterious recurring hand ailment.
