Anna Maria Alberghetti, Italian-born singing star, re-enacts the taking of the oath of allegiance in the chambers of Federal Judge William M. Byrne in Los Angeles today where she became an American citizen. She flew to the coast from New York, where she is rehearsing for a Broadway musical, to comply with the law requiring that an applicant for citizenship be sworn in in the city where the application was filed.
