Actor John Wayne is in a jovial mood as he poses with stewardess Maria de Lourdes Cortinas as the airport in Los Angeles today for his first picture since he announced he has "licked cancer." Wayne is flying to Durango, Mexico, to start work in Hal Wallis-Paramount's "The Sons of Katie Elder," co-starring with Dean Martin. Wayne was operated on in September for incipient cancer of the lung.
