Description
Kicks For Customers -- And Gets Them Knoxville Tenn. -- A sign in Bill Ray's model airplane supply store here is luring customers with the promise of "Free Kick After Each 25-cent Purchase." Who is to deliver the kick and who is to receive it remain a mystery until after the cash is rung up. Then Ray takes his stance on the floor, and with a leaping kick, touches his toe to the ceiling, seven feet six inches high. Ray himself is only five feet, 10 inches, so the kick is considered worth the money, at least customers seem to believe so, for business in the shop has been good.

Photo is dated 1938.

Photo measures 7.25 x 9.25 inches.
