1948 Press Photo Fetiades Captured Told To Kill All Americans Who Got In His Way

John Fetiades, 39, shown after his capture by regular Greek troops during pursuit of Guerilla forces which had shelled Salonika, told interrogators that he had been trained in Yugoslavia and had been told to "kill all Americans when they interfere with operations, or drive them away, because they wish to conquer Greece." He was identified as the political commissioner of the Querilla Stefandies Brigade.

Photo is dated 1948.
