Nathan Feinsinger, Chairman of the Wage Stabilization Board (left) and Fredrick H. Bullen (right), Vice-Chairman, are shown above as they talked together prior to a night meeting of the board on March 19. The board met to try to find a way to settle the threatened steel strike and to consider a recommendation by public members of the board for a 20 cent an hour "package" increase for steel workers.
