Description
Photo shows Mable Trijillo (R), and Lisa Gazarek can't see waht a bassoon looks like, but they can get a good impression of it by sense of feeling. These young girls were part of the audience from the Colorado School of the Deaf and the Blind in Colorado Springs who heard a concert by a woodwind quintet from the joint US-Canadian North America Air Defense Command Band. Since the bassoon is not part of the Blind School's band, SSgt. John Reid (L), was happy to let the girls check over the woodwind instrument. Under the direction of Mr. Allen Uhles, the Blind School's 19 piece band played at 27 concerts throught Colorado.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
