Credit - ACME and NEA New Orleans - Elmer Ogle was lost in a swamp in 1920, while running a trap line. Franklin Roosevelt, then Secretary of Navy, was the one in a large searching party to find him. Wrapping Ogle in a coat, FDR carried him to his lost pirogue and paddled him to safety. Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 01
