Caption: Mathew McClenon, 8, landed at City Airport in Detroit Thursday on his way to New York in an attempt to become the youngest pilot ever to fly cross-country (the current record-holder is 9 yrs. old). Several shots of young Matt near the plane just after landing, dodging cameras and reporters that swarmed the guy immediately after setting foot on Detroit soil, er, pavement.
