Caption: Here at Westminster Abbey, in this central space--technically termed the "Theater"--is where a greater part of the ceremony attending the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II will take place on June 2. The Coronation Chair, facing the High Altar, is placed midway between the two great pillars. At right, on five raised steps is the Sovereign's Throne, and the Consort's Throne is beside but two steps lower.
