Caption: Toasts Of The Town. Joe Beyer and Millie Beyer emerge from a limousine on their way into the Detroit Athletic Club, where about 200 people were waiting to honor them Friday night. They Beyers, who owned the Pontchartrain Wine Cellars for the last 20 of its 56 years before it closed last July, were being feted by a reunion-like gathering of former customers and employees, and the limo ride was part of the honor.
