Caption: GREENFIELD VILLAGEWEAVING A CHAIR SEAT with reeds and grasses is one of the faschinating early American crafts to be seen at the Country Fair of Yesteryear, "May 13-15, at Greenfield Village. The colorful 19th century fair is heralded by brass bands and highlighted by craft demonstrations, children's hobby exhibits, farm animals, horsemanship competition, variety entertainment and parades. Each morning the fair opens with a Calvacade of Transporation parade, featuring early bicycles, vintage cars and horse-drawn carriages, stage coaches and wagons. Exhibits are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the fair is included in Village admission $1.50 for adults and 50c for children.
