1957 Press Photo Peg pins Detroit Historical Museum

Caption: LOOKING BACK-- Years ago, setting blowing pins was a tough chore, as this display of "Peg pins" shows. John Paulus of Chene-Trombly Recreation, shows W.W. Edgar, of the Bowling Proprietors Association how pins were fitted over the pegs to hold them upright. Similar exhibits covering 50 years of bowling progress are on display at the Detroit Historical Museum this week.
