Caption: Flower HOLYHOCK ALTHAEA ROSEA;A marshmallow is some thing sweet to eat, but it's also an old-fashioned garden plant with pretty pink flowers.Actually those puffy white marshmallows that young campers like to toast over an open fire got their name because they originally were made from the roots of the marsh mallow plant.
