Description
Caption: WELLFLEET, MASS. JULY 5--BLACK FISH LEFT ON SHORE--Two youngsters look at a portion of 70 Black Fish, each weighing between a ton and two tons and averaging 12 feet in length, which were left high and dry on Lieutenant's Island here early today. The fish had been driven out of Wellfleet Harbor late Friday only to return. The herd, mostly of cows and their calves, had been chasing marine feed too close to shore.
