Caption: CURTICE RECEIVES SAVINGS BOND AWARD--General Motors President Harlow H. Curtice Monday receives an achievement award for GM's contributions to the success of the savings bond program. A special plaque was presented to Mr. Curtice by Noble D. Travis, left, vice president of the Detroit Wabeek Bank and Trust Company and chairman of the Michigan division of the savings bond program. Mr. Travis praised the 1955 purchases of GM employees in Michigan and elsewhere which totaled more than $111 million.
