Caption: Socialist Attempts To Form French Cabinet-Paris-Albert Sarraut, radical socialist and former Premier, who accepted the invitation of President LeBrun of France to try to form a Cabinet to succeed that of Pierre Laval, which resigned. M. Sarraut was Premier of France for one month in October 1933. Edouard Herriot and Yvon Delbos, both Radical Socialists, declined invitations from President Lebrun to form cabinets.
