Caption: Syracuse, N.Y., Aug. 18 - Al Junior's Wife Has Diary -- A diary she kept during her early married life was produced in court by Mrs. Al Smith Jr., wife of the son of the former New York State Governor, when she commenced action seeking temporary alimony pending a separation suit. The diary said Al Jr. made $30,000 one month. Mrs. Al Jr. is the former Betha Gott, daughter of a retired railroad engineer.
