Caption: (DB1) DAYTONA BEACH, FLA., July 4 -- WINS FIRECRACKER 250 -- Jack Smith, Spartanburg, S.C., won the Firecracker 250 today. Smith averaged 146.842 MPH for the 250 mile race, completing it in a time of 1 hour 42 minutes and 9 seconds. This is a new stock car record, the third in three days for Smith.
