Caption: Ford Trucks:1993 Ford Explorer - A four-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) is standard on the Ford Explorer compact utility vehicle for 1993. The new brake system is designed to provide vehicle braking control by helping to prevent wheel lockup during hard braking in both the two- and four-wheel drive modes. The standard Explorer powertrain consists of Ford's 160-horsepower-4.0 electronically fuel injected (EFI) V-6 engine and five-speed manual overdrive transmission. A four-speed automatic overdrive transmission is optional.1993 Ford Bronco - The Ford Bronco, the benchmark vehicle in the full-sized utility vehicle market, offers a four-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS) and Ford's next-generation speed control (optional) for 1993. The new four-wheel system puts anti-lock brakes at all four wheels, and is designed to provide control by preventing wheel lockup during hard braking. The smooth-operating next-generation speed control responds faster to driver commands and has excellent speed-holding capabilities.
