Description
Caption: Oct. 22 - Alaska Governor Votes for First Time - Alaska Gov. William Egan and his wife address absentee ballots in Juneau for the Nov. 8 general election. It will be the first time Egan, like most Alaskans, votes for a president. Alaskans did not vote for a president before the vast northland became a state. The Egans don't plan to be at their polling place election day. Their ballots will be counted after polls close.
