Caption: The letter above was sent by U.S Ambassador to Brazil C. Burke Elbrick to his wife Elvira he assuring her the was well and hoped to be released by his kidnappers soon. He was taken from Rio De Janeiro by revolutionaries who demanded the release of 15 political prisoners and stated he would be freed as soon as the prisoner arrive safely in Mexico.
