Caption: GETTYSBURG, PA.: Though he wasn't a typical American youngster, David Eisenhower, grandson of late Pres. Dwight David Eisenhower and son-in-law of Pres. Richard M. Nixon, takes part in a very average type sports activity in this 1960 photo from files. During an anxious moment, he bites his thumb while waiting for the play in 1st inning of his starting appearance as second baseman for the Moose Team of the Gettysburg Little League.
