ELIZABETH HOLLEQUE makes her Cleveland debut as Desdemona in Cleveland Opera's first Italian-language production, Shakespeare Meets Verdi, presenting scenes from Verdi's great tragedies, Otello and Macbeth, November 12-14 at the Ohio Theatre. Dr. Boris Goldovsky, noted commentator for the Metropolitan Opera's radio broadcasts, will provide English narration. This fully-staged production will be accompanied by the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Stuart Raleigh, and directed by the David Bamberger Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
