Earl Peyton and Linda Lollar accept their awards as Morris Man and Woman of the Year from Councilman Frank Keith. A longtime council member, Peyton works with the town's senior citizens group, is in charge of the street department and has spearheaded the town's efforts at decorating for Christmas, Keith said. Mrs. Lollar, wife of Councilman Charlie Lollar, serves on the library medical and beautification boards. "Anything that the community needs, she stands ready to do it," Keith said.
