1982 Press Photo David Holley, burned in grease fire, with Paramedics on Gurney

Severely burned in a grease fire at his home last Thursday, David Holley, 14, of Smoke Rise, was flown to Cincinnati Shrine Burn Hospital today. Zamora Temple flew the boy to Cincinnati and will pay for his care there, said potentate Fritz L. Horst, Young Holley, a student at Hayden Junior High school, was taken to Cincinnati aboard Governor Fob James' airplane. He was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. David Holley Senior. The boy had tried to put out the grease fire, said Horst. His father put out the flames and young Holley was taken to Children's Hospital. The Shrine was contacted and took over responsibility for his care, said Horst.
