Vera C. Foster, secretary of the Alabama Committee on the Observance of International Women's Year, was one of 20 social workers from the United States chosen to tour the Peoples Republic of China. Prior to the China trip, the social workers met with Japanese welfare leaders in Tokyo. Mrs. Foster, a social worker at the Tuskegee Veterans Hospital, is returning to Alabama for Saturday's celebration of International Women's Year at the Montgomery Civic Center. All women of Alabama are invited for a day of workshop and fellowship, between 8 A.m. and 5 p.m.
