Time flies, the tide turns and cities rise and fall this November with TLC's first-ever Understanding Festival. This two-day, 36-hour unprecedented television event probes the how and why of natural and man-made forces and examines how science and technology shape our world and our daily lives. Featuring a range of celebrity interviews, including actor John Travolta and author Tom Clancy, the festival airs Saturday, November 23 - Sunday, November 24, from 9 Am-3 Am (ET) each day, and includes six world premiere programs: Time, Uncertainty, Oceans, The Universe, Cities, and Flight, as well as encore presentations from the continuing Understanding series.
