Description
At the dinner for Governors here for the Annual National Conference of the Chief Executives, this interesting photo was made. It shows Gov Herbert H Lehman of NY chatting with Senator Dixie Bibb Graves of Alabama, wife of the Governor of that state. Mrs Graves was appointed Senator by her husband after Hugo Black had been selected for the U.S. Supreme Court.
