1940 Press Photo New France Follows Germany's Lead With "La Jeune Front"

The photo of life in "New France" was smuggled un censored from the former French capital. It shows how the imprint of the conquering Nazi is being felt in once gay pared as the Parisians are being re cast in the Nazi mold. Among the prime tenets of the dictatorial regime is regimentation of youth. "New France" follows the conqueror's lead with "La Jeune Front" organization of young french fascists anti-semitism is another of the Nazi trademarks. And in spite of the difference in insignia these banners decking the headquarters of "La Jeune Front" have a distinctive look.
