1938 Press Photo Theodore Danielson Jr. who killed his mother with a knife

Music has been this boy's greatest delight. Theodore Danielson Jr., 16 was taught to play the piano by his mother, crippled musician, whom he murdered with a knife. Alternately weeping and sulking in jail in Chicago Theodore turned to the piano for consolation at just about the time his mother's funeral was in progress. But the music, somehow, wouldn't come and the boy slumped over the keyboard.
