John L. Lewis' United Mine Workers Union today filed a notice of appeal from Judge Goldsborough's sentence of $3,500,000 fine against the Union and $14,000 against Lewis personally on the contempt of court verdict. James Glenn, UMW defense counsel, sis shown as he left the district court after he filed the appeal documents with the Federal District Court clerk.
