Irving Pasternak of Denver, Colorado, an oil investor was named by the government in federal court in New York today as having shared responsibility for alleged payment of $100,000 to the late Senator George Bender, R-Ohio. Government charged the money was paid to Bender to try to kill an investigation into a stock fraud conspiracy. Pasternak is a defendant in government's case against 12 persons and four firms accused of fraud conspiracy.
