Journalist Bill Moyers (left) interviews renowned mythologist Joseph Campbell (right) in Moyers: Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth, a s hour-long broadcasts premiering Monday, May 23 at 10 p.m, (ET; check local listings) on PBS. In the series, videotaped at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in California and the American Museum of Natural History in New York before Campbell's death in 1987, Campbell discusses universal themes that course through the mythology of all cultures, such as love and marriage, life and death, and the importance of finding and following one's "bliss." A presentation of WNET/New York and WTTW/Chicago, the series is a production of Apostrophe S Productions in association with Public Affairs Television, Inc. and Alvin H. Perlmutter, Inc.
