Description
This is the Elysian Fields Methodist Church, Elysian Fields at Filmore, which brought first premium from the Church Guild of America in its contest on architectural design for churches seating more than 250. The judging committee praised the "adaptable chancel and the simple relationship of chancel and people." The architects were Lawrence and Saunders of New Orleans.
