New Opera Star -- Donald Dame, young American-born tenor, has just been signed to a contract by the Metropolitan Opera in New York for the coming season. A native of Cleveland, he was raised to his new stellar role from his current series as vocalist with Tuesday night NBC "Salute To Youth".
