Buddhist Institute - Thich Tam Chau, moderate head of the Buddhist Institute in Saigon, announced Friday that he had resigned his post. Tam Chau, apparently acting under pressure from Buddhist extremists, said in his letter of resignation, "I have tried to solve the present situation but have failed."
