John S. Knight (right) publisher of Knight Newspapers Incorporated, was honored here tonight by hundreds of friends at a dinner marking his reaching the 50-year milestone in the newspaper business. With him is his brother, James L. Knight, President of the Miami Herald and President and Editor of the Charlotte Observer. Akron is John S. Knight's home.
