Description
Some authorities called it sabotage, some hinted at vandalism today after three blasts of dynamite shattered isolated microwave relay stations in eastern Nevada and western Utah. Coast-to-coast communications by telephone and other means were briefly cut until automatic equipment switched to alternate systems. The walls of this amplification station near Knolls in western Utah were blown out and the roof collapsed. Guardsmen surrounded other stations in the West.

Photo is dated 1961.
