Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
A family flees their home on Napier Street in Belfast Wednesday morning as firemen battle a fire in a bus depot in the background. A wall of the depot, which caught fire after a bomb blast, fell on a nearby house injuring an elderly man. The flags flying from the houses at right are unionist flags, flown by many of the militant Protestants.

Photo is dated 1971.

Photo measures 8 x 9.25 inches.
