American author Clifford Irving is returning to New York from his home at Ibiza, in the Spanish Balearic Islands, to straighten out a conflict arising from his writing a biography of billionaire Howard Hughes. Irving says he personally delivered three checks totaling $650,000 to Hughes in payment for his autobiography.
