Studying the program Sunday before a meeting of the Pelican Council of Deliberation, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Free-masonry, held at the Fontainebleau Motor Hotel are four who attended. They are (from left), John A. Foster, of Washington, D.C., past commander-in-chief, Eureka Consistory; Doctor John G. Lewis Jr., of Baton Rouge sovereign grand commander, Southern Jurisdiction, A.A.S.R.F.M.; Doctor Jack L. Strong, of Bossier City, deputy for the United Supreme Council, A.A.S.R.F.M., in Louisiana, who presided over the session; and Elbert J. Durden, of New Orleans, commander-in-chief, Eureka Consistory.
