1976 Press Photo Northern Ireland Women's Peace Movement arrived in New Orleans

Northern Ireland Women's Peace Movement Mairead Corrigan and Betty Williams arrived here at New Orleans International Airport Monday night. The two will tape a televised appeal at WYES-TV Tuesday to stop what they say is the flow of American money to their homeland. The taping was scheduled here after death threats were made on the women in Buffalo, New York, the original site. In the left photograph are an unidentified woman, Gloria Michels of WNED-TV in Buffalo, Miss Corrigan and an unidentified passenger.
