Description
After Leaving New Orleans, a farewell to land is said by the Mississippi as it reaches the Gulf at the of the Passes. Two main passageways to the gulf are through these passes...The real Southwest Pass, 115 miles south of New Orleans, has tendency to become clogged by mud, silt. Engineers also want to deepen pass.
