1967 Press Photo Historic nurse uniforms modeled at New Orleans Dental meeting

Wearing historically authentic nurses uniforms they modeled at a fashion show yesterday during the 20th annual New Orleans Dental Conference at the Roosevelt Hotel are, from left, Miss Madeline Carbon in a replica of the uniform worn at the first nursing school in London in 1870; Mrs. Charleen Morris in the style uniform worn by a nurse tending the wounded members of the Confederate Army during Battle of Gettysburg; and Miss Debra Renz wearing a replica of the nurse's uniform of Molly Pitcher worn during the Battle of Bunker Hill. The latest in nursing uniforms were also modeled at the fashion show.
