Artist's concept of new Central Police Lock-up. $3 Million Police Facility Proposed. A proposal for a $3 million facility to be built in 1962 will be presented to the city council next Monday. The city planning commission will outline preliminary plans for the two-building headquarters, proposed for construction on sites behind the present police and criminal courts building at Tulane and Broad.
