Description
President Johnson today received the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation Award for "outstanding contributions to the health of the American people" and his efforts to promote health legislation. Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, center, of Baylor Medical School at Houston, Tex., presented the award in White House ceremonies. At left is Mrs. Albert Lasker. Johnson said every dollar of the $10,000 award will go to charitable causes in the field of health and education.
