US Army-Engineers. Channel depths at Green Bay were measured by the United State Army Corps of Engineers. Ronald Jansen of Green Bay stood on the shore line directing the position of the boat which made soundings at 20 feet intervals of the channel width and at 100 foot intervals of the channel length.
