Description
The commander of Camp McCoy, Colonel Paul Craig, was awarded the Legion of Merit at ceremonies marking his retirement from the army. Craig, 53, has been in charge of the camp since July, 1965. He began his military career in 1934 and served with the 81st infantry division in the Pacific in World War II. After the war Craig was assigned to posts in Japan and Europe.

Photo is dated 1968.
